Jackson Meadows Playground

Located at the corner of N. Goodwill St. and W. Jackson Ave., this park offers a playground, tennis courts, basketball court, and pavilion.

Jackson Recreational Park

Located between Creamery St. and S. Fairlane Ave., just south of W. Main Ave., this park offers fields for various sports, a pavilion, ½ mile walking path, and Lebanon County’s first disc golf course.

Lakeside Park

Located at the corner of E. Main Avenue and Quarry Dr. The park is 28 acres and features an 8 acre lake. The park also includes a street hockey rink, a picnic pavilion, a youth baseball field and a brand new disc golf course. Lakeside Park Rules Prohibited by Ordinance: Overnight Camping, Open fires, Alcoholic Beverages, Firearms or Airguns, Vehicles with Sleeping Accommodations, Off Highway Motorized Vehicles, Discarding of Any Trash, No Swimming, and Motorized Boats. Park closed from dusk to dawn.

Fairlane Avenue Park

Located on S. Fairlane Ave., just south of W. Main Ave., this park offers fields for various sports, one of which is the beautiful Rager Football Field, home of the Myerstown Panthers. In addition to a ¾ mile walking path, the park offers a pavilion, playground, pickle ball courts, basketball courts and brand new bocci ball courts. Enjoy Bocce Ball Saturdays at 11am. Everyone is welcome!

This video shows current and past cleanup operations at the former site of Whitmoyer Laboratories. Located in Jackson Township, the site occupies 22 acres in a rapidly developing rural residential area. Included is an interview with a Jackson Township supervisor, current views of site and athletic fields, and an interview with the president of a local youth soccer club which uses the site.

Activities For Adults

DISC GOLF LEAGUE: The Lebanon Valley Disc Golf Club is open to all individuals aged eighteen and over. The season generally runs from early March to the end of September.

MYERSTOWN ROLLER HOCKEY LEAGUE: The Myerstown Roller Hockey League is open to all individuals aged eighteen and over. They offer both spring and fall leagues.

MYERSTOWN STREET HOCKEY LEAGUE: The Myerstown Street Hockey League is open to all individuals aged eighteen and over. They offer both spring and fall leagues.

Activities For Youth

BASEBALL: Take your pick between three baseball opportunities; youth baseball, youth legion baseball, and legion baseball. Ages very for these opportunities and games typically began after the school season has ended.

BASKETBALL: This opportunity is available for both boys and girls. Practice usually starts around the middle of December and games run through February.

CHEERLEADING: The Myerstown Panther Cheerleading program is open to all girls between the ages of six and twelve. This program coincides with the Myerstown Panther football program.

FOOTBALL: The Myerstown Panther Football Program is open to all boys between the ages of five to thirteen in the ELCO School District. This is a traveling league.

PLAYGROUND: The Jackson Meadows Playground Association welcomes all children that reside in the township into the program. This program generally runs during the summer when the children are not in school.

SOCCER: Soccer opportunities are available as part of either a recreational or travel team.

SOFTBALL: Softball opportunities are available as part of a travel and non travel team.

WRESTLING: The ELCO Youth Wrestling program is offered to all children from age four through sixth grade.

TENNIS: The ELCO Tennis Boosters Club offers some spring programs for children between the grades of first through eighth grade. Their focus is to develop strokes, skills, movement and all-around knowledge related to tennis. These programs are typically held May through July.

TRACK & FIELD: There is a Track and Field program offered to children in the ELCO School District between the ages of 1st and 6th grade.
