ORDINANCE NO. 04-2025

AN ORDINANCE BY THE JACKSON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, LEBANON COUNTY, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING §13-104 (“APPLICATION FOR LICENSE”), § 13-106(“LICENSE FEE”), §13-108 (“TRANSFER OF LICENSE”), AND §13-109 (“REGULATIONS”) OF CHAPTER 13, LICENSES, PERMITS, AND GENERAL BUSINESS; PART 1, JUNKYARDS OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF JACKSON TOWNSHIP.

You are hereby notified that the Jackson Township Board of Supervisors, at their public meeting on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at the Jackson Township Municipal Building located at 60 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, Pennsylvania, will consider for adoption and enactment an Ordinance amending certain provisions of Chapter 13, Code of Ordinances of Jackson Township, Licenses, Permits and General Business; Part 1, Junkyards,.

            The Ordinance provides as follows: amending §13-104 by permitting business entities to apply for a junkyard license; §13-106 to allow for the license fee to be changed by resolution; §13-108 to allow for a junkyard license to be transferred to a business entity; §13-109 to allow for business entities to be held responsible for violations to the regulations and prohibiting burning of vehicles of the Jackson Township Code of Ordinances; Severability; Repealer; and Effective Date.
