PUBLIC NOTICE
JACKSON TOWNSHIP
ORDINANCE NO. 1-2024
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that on April 1, 2024, Jackson Township shall hold a public hearing in order to receive comments regarding a proposed Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance to be adopted by the Township as Ordinance No. 1-2024. The public hearing shall be held at 7:00 p.m. on April 1, 2024 in the Jackson Township Building located at 60 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, Pennsylvania. This ordinance may be summarized as follows:

This shall be an ordinance setting forth rules, regulations, and standards regulating subdivision and land development within the Township of Jackson, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, pursuant to the authority granted in Article V. of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, known as Act 247 of 1968, as amended and reenacted by the Act of 170 of 1988, and establishing the procedure to be followed by the Jackson Township Board of Supervisors and the application and administration of said rules, regulations and standards, and providing penalties and remedies for the violation thereof.
This ordinance shall be known as the Jackson Township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance of 2024 being Ordinance No. 1 of 2024. The Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance is adopted to promote the public health, safety, morals and welfare of the Township.
Upon conclusion and adjournment of the public hearing, the Jackson Township Board of Supervisors shall convene the Township’s regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. at which time the Township may consider for adoption and enactment Ordinance No. 1 of 2024 as summarized above. The Township regular meeting shall be held in the Jackson Township Municipal Building in the same location as the public hearing.
