PARKS

JACKSON MEADOWS: Located at the corner of N. Goodwill St. and W. Jackson Ave., this park offers a playground, tennis courts, basketball court, and pavilion.

JACKSON RECREATIONAL PARK: Located between Creamery St. and S. Fairlane Ave., just south of W. Main Ave., this park offers fields for various sports, a pavilion, ½ mile walking path, and Lebanon County's first disc golf course. Please use the following documents to help you enjoy the facilities

FAIRLANE AVENUE PARK: Located on S. Fairlane Ave., just south of W. Main Ave., this park offers fields for various sports, one of which is the beautiful Rager Football Field, home of the Myerstown Panthers. In addition to a ¾ mile walking path, this park will also offer a pavilion with an adjacent bocci ball court upon completion sometime in 2017.

LAKESIDE PARK: Located at the corner of E. Main Avenue and Quarry Dr.  The park is 28 acres and features an 8 acre lake.  The park also includes a street hockey rink, a picnic pavilion and a youth baseball field.  The lake is open for fishing and boating and a boat ramp is located at the eastern end of the lake.  The quarry is stocked by the PA Fish and Boat Commission. 

Lakeside Park Rules Prohibited by Ordinance:  Overnight Camping, Open fires, Alcoholic Beverages, Firearms or Airguns, Vehicles with Sleeping Accommodations, Off Highway Motorized Vehicles, Discarding of Any Trash, No Swimming, and Motorized Boats.

ACTIVITES FOR ADULTS

DISC GOLF LEAGUE: The Lebanon Valley Disc Golf Club is open to all individuals aged eighteen and over. The season generally runs from early March to the end of September. More information can be obtained on their facebook page: Lebanon Valley Disc Golf Club.

MYERSTOWN ROLLER HOCKEY LEAGUE: The Myerstown Roller Hockey League is open to all individuals aged eighteen and over. They offer both spring and fall leagues. You can learn more by visiting their facebook page: Myerstown Roller Hockey League.

ACTIVITIES FOR YOUTH

YOUTH BASEBALL: The baseball opportunities in the ELCO School District are administered by ELCO Youth Baseball. They offer both spring and fall baseball opportunities for players in between the ages of five and fourteen. Registration typically runs from Thanksgiving to Valentine's Day, with practices starting in April and games starting in May. YOUTH LEGION BASEBALL: This baseball opportunity in the Myerstown / Jackson Township area is administered by Myerstown Youth Legion Baseball. This team is for players between the ages of thirteen and fifteen. Their season generally begins after the school season has ended. LEGION BASEBALL: This baseball opportunity in the Myerstown / Jackson Township area is administered by Myerstown Legion Baseball. This team is for players between the ages of sixteen and eighteen. Their season generally begins after the school season has ended.

YOUTH BOYS BASKETBALL: The ELCO Youth Boys Biddy Basketball Program is for boys in the grades of kindergarten through seventh grade in the ELCO School District. Practice usually starts around the middle of December and games run through February. Registration generally takes place in early November. YOUTH GIRLS BASKETBALL: The ELCO Youth Girls Basketball Program is for girls in the grades of kindergarten through seventh grade in the ELCO School District. Practice usually starts around the middle of December and games run through February. Registration generally takes place in early November.

YOUTH CHEERLEADING: The Myerstown Panther Cheerleading program is open to all girls between the ages of six and twelve. This program coincides with the Myerstown Panther football program.

YOUTH FOOTBALL: The Myerstown Panther Football program is open to all boys between the ages of six and twelve in the ELCO School District. Registration is usually in late July, with practices starting soon thereafter. All the age groups and games are either on Saturday or Sunday nights and this is a traveling league. The season typically concludes around the middle of November. They play in the Lebanon Valley Midget Football League, and you can view their schedules by visiting their website at: Myerstown Panther Football.

YOUTH PLAYGROUND: The Jackson Meadows Playground Association welcomes all children that reside in the township into the program. YOUTH RECREATIONAL SOCCER: All children between the ages of four and fourteen can register to play for the Myerstown Soccer Club. Registration for the fall season begins in April. Practices start the beginning of August and games around Labor Day @ Jackson Recreational Park in Myerstown. They also offer a spring season with registration in February and games starting the beginning of April. Some of these teams will play in the Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League. YOUTH TRAVEL SOCCER: There is a group of travel soccer teams available to all children in the ELCO School District between eight and eighteen. Tryouts are usually held in late May or early June before school is out. These teams will play together in the Reading Berks Junior Soccer League or the Lancaster County Soccer League. The majority of their games is within 30 to 50 minutes of Myerstown and is played on weekends. Travel teams are for serious soccer players who are dedicated to the sport and committed to improving their skills on their own (at home) throughout the year - not just at regular practice sessions. YOUTH GIRLS SOFTBALL: ELCO Youth Girls Softball Program offers a program for all girls between kindergarten and eighth grade. Registration usually opens around January and practices / games can start as early as March. YOUTH GIRLS TRAVEL SOFTBALL: Richland Legion 12U & 14U Fast-Pitch Travel Softball offers a program for all girls between fifth and ninth grade. Registration usually opens in January. YOUTH TENNIS: The ELCO Tennis Boosters Club offers some spring programs for children between the grades of first through eighth grade. Their focus is to develop strokes, skills, movement and all-around knowledge related to tennis. These programs are typically held May through July. YOUTH TRACK: There is a Track and Field program offered to children in the ELCO School District between the ages of 1st and 6th grade. Registration usually takes place in March. YOUTH WRESTLING: The Elco Youth Wrestling program is offered to all children from age four through sixth grade. Registration for the season is held in early November with practices beginning towards the end of November.
